Information we collect

We collect your sign-in email, WhatsApp connection details, chat list, messages and related information, including sender details, shared locations, polls, media captions and file information. We do not download media files.

We also keep your sharing settings, email delivery details, invitation requests, support correspondence and service logs. WhatsApp conversations include information about the people you chat with.

How we use it

We use this information to connect WhatsApp, share selected messages with your agent or email destination, manage your account, provide support and keep the service running securely. wa2agent does not summarize or interpret your messages; your agent does that.

What you share

You choose which chats to share with your agent and through email exports. Choosing All chats includes new chats as they appear.

Your vault connects as a linked device, like WhatsApp Web or Desktop. WhatsApp can send it messages from chats you have not selected. Those messages may be stored temporarily before automatic cleanup permanently deletes them from the vault. They are excluded from agent access and email exports throughout. The vault keeps a chat list so you can choose what to share.

Storage and access

Each user has a separate encrypted vault hosted by an established cloud provider in Ashburn, Virginia, USA. The vault operator retains access to the vault for maintenance and support.

Service providers

We use a cloud provider for hosting, Cloudflare for web traffic and support email routing, Resend for sign-in emails and optional message exports, and Google for support email.

How long we keep information

Selected messages are available for a rolling 30 days from their message date. Your chat list, WhatsApp connection details and settings remain until removed or your vault is deleted.

Your choices and rights

You can change shared chats, pause collection, revoke agent access, turn off email or disconnect WhatsApp. You can delete your vault at any time. Docs explains each control. Stopping access does not delete your vault or recall copies already shared.

Email info@wa2agent.link to request vault deletion or access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Vault deletion removes its messages, settings and WhatsApp connection details. We may need to verify your identity.

Cookies and diagnostics

We use a sign-in cookie and collect basic website loading diagnostics. These diagnostics contain no message content or persistent visitor identifier.
